I am a journalism educator who teaches courses in broadcast and
multimedia journalism at Carleton
University in Ottawa, Canada and sometimes oversees
the production of Capital
News Online, an online publication produced by students
at Carleton University's School of Journalism.
Before joining the faculty in 1990, I was a reporter and producer
for CBC Radio News on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and, before that,
in Whitehorse, Yukon.
After joining the faculty to teach broadcast journalism, I developed
an interest in the internet and its impact on journalism and now
teach courses in multimedia journalism.
I also give seminars and workshops on writing for online media, communicating
on the internet, using the internet for journalists and other topics. |
